WPP’s Geometry agency is seeking an Account Executive/Project Manager – Omnichannel Shopper Marketing. The position is based in the Paris area but the scope is Europe Middle East and Africa. This is a great hands-on opportunity to join an outstanding, internationally-networked agency team and influence iconic brands across various categories (Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Consumer Healthcare to name a few).

The Omnichannel Shopper Marketing agency team for our global and regional clients is fully-integrated into multidisciplinary teams consisting of people from various WPP agencies, operating across multiple marketing disciplines (consumer advertising, shopper marketing, eCommerce, media, healthcare professionals, etc.). Everyone sits together in one building, enabling speed, efficiency and connectivity.

In Paris, Geometry partners with a diverse portfolio of clients including Action Contre la Faim, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Marionnaud, Piaget, Sanofi and Se Loger, either directly or in close collaboration with WPP companies such as GroupM, JWT, Ogilvy, Peclers and VMLY&R.


Reports to: Senior Account Director
Client teams: primarily Colgate-Palmolive and Sanofi – but not exclusively
Provides day-to-day executional support to the client and internal account team with emphasis on anticipating potential obstacles to program success and analyzing program results. Acts as a vital contributor to the development of client programs and solutions. Ensures agency success by keeping the internal account team informed of project status and by utilizing day-to-day knowledge to inform program development and activity.
• Create and update both client and project documents including: creative briefs, estimates, project timelines, media plans, status reports, conference reports and other supporting materials
• Organize client presentations, meetings and conference calls and prepare relevant documents, including agendas, meeting materials and conference reports
• Ensure projects are fully scoped, forecasted and remain on schedule and within budget
• Track budgets; notify Senior Account Director of client requests that fall outside of scope; revise budgets as needed; alert client of financial implications and secure approval to proceed
• Create and maintain electronic files of key project documents and assets on server
• Serve as creative and executional project lead; guide the day-to-day development of client shopper marketing projects from start to finish; secure required client approvals (e.g. creative briefs, budgets, creative materials, etc.); ensure progressive steps in the process are approved with adequate time to meet schedules
• Collaborate with strategist, creative team and/or integrated client team to develop shopper marketing programs and solutions for client
• Build rapport and credibility with client based on trust, expert counsel and responsiveness to client needs
• Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems; proactively develop solutions
• Review all strategic documents and creative work prior to submitting to client for review
• Capture and interpret program results, summarize findings, and work with senior team members to recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward
• Adhere to agency process and financial policies; identify ways to improve processes
• Handle other duties as assigned by Senior Account Director


• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Full English proficiency in a working environment
• 2-3 yrs. of agency experience, preferably with shopper or retail marketing experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of client category and business objectives, and a clear understanding of the key strategic issues that impact the client’s business
• Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written form
• Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:
o Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy
o Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
o Developing and archiving all key project documents in an easy to identify format for historical reference
• Ability to analyze results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations
• Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:
o Providing regular and thorough project updates to Senior Account Director and team
o Anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and developing solutions
o Keeping abreast of category trends and sharing information/learnings with team members
Ability to manage overlapping deliverables with short turnaround times
